The Mt. Lake Public School Board held a special meeting Wednesday evening.
At the meeting, the board approved a bid from Fairmont Glass to complete the Phase III window project, which will replace the windows in the 1970s portion of the high school building.
Bids for the project were opened on Tuesday. The awarded bid from Fairmont Glass was for $347,807, which includes construction, removal and disposal.
Supt. Bill Strom stated the window project is estimated to take 14 weeks to complete. As a result, the district is looking at possible adjustments to the calendar for the end of the 2020-21 school year, as well as the start of the 2021-22 school year. No final decisions on the school calendar were made at the meeting.
