Monument court case hearing delayed

The trial date for a high-profile local theft-by-swindle case has been postponed, according to Cottonwood County Attorney Nick Anderson.

The trial involved a local monument business owned by Jodie Crowell of Windom.

The case began in late 2019 and has seen multiple delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The trial was initially scheduled for this month, but has now been pushed back to June 16-18, according to Cottonwood County Attorney Nick Anderson.
