At last night’s regular meeting, the Windom School Board discussed the potential of adding a full-time preschool teacher.
Board members were told that the matter is currently still under consideration and that administration has not yet determined whether to make that a recommendation. One reason the district is considering this move is that there have been reports that one of Windom’s largest preschools could be closing this spring.
Registration is currently underway for the school’s preschool program. Those numbers are expected to be a factor in the board’s decision.
