The Windom Area School Board will hold its monthly work session Monday, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Windom City Hall council chamber.
On the agenda, the board will hold public hearings for four tax abatement proposals for newly-constructed single-family homes. The board also will hold a public hearing for the proposed tax abatement plan for the conversion of the Guardian Inn Motel into apartment units.
The board will act on the non-renewal of six probationary teachers and will act on the possibility of adding teaching staff for the 2021-22 school year. The board also will act on the revised fiscal year 2021 budget.
The board will hear information on the discontinuation of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act Leave and will act on a memorandum of understanding with Education Minnesota-Windom regarding payout of personal leave.
