It appears there is suddenly a potential for an early-season bug problem in Windom.
In the closing moments of last night’s Windom City Council meeting, City Administrator Steve Nasby braced the council for a delay in the city’s bug spraying program.
“The manufacturers of the spray had a voluntary recall of their mosquito product,” Nasby said. “It involves a chemical in the aeration part of it. They want to replace it.”
Nasby said Monsanto will likely have a lot of replacements to fill.
