The City of Windom has declared a snow emergency from midnight until noon Monday.
All vehicles must be moved off of streets and alleys within the city until the street has been plowed from curb to curb. Vehicles remaining on the streets are subject to being ticketed and towed.
Additionally, vehicles in the downtown area may be parked in designated municipal lots while the streets are being plowed. Vehicles must be moved from parking lots within six hours of the completion of the emergency.
The Windom area is in a winter storm warning has been issued for overnight, with projections of five to 10 inches of snowfall in the forecast.
