Hills-Beaver Creek rallied in the final minutes Saturday, stealing a 45-42 decision from Red Rock Central at Lamberton.
The Patriots held the Falcons scoreless for the final 4:44 of the game. Meanwhile, a three-pointer from Abby Knobloch gave HBC the lead. Knobloch added a late free throw to seal the win.
Nicole Schroepfer led RRC with 16 points. Karli Arkell scored 13 in the loss.

Red Rock Central was able to hold off a second-half surge from Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey, as a late free throw from Lilly Stavnes broke a tie, giving the Falcons a 50-49 win Friday in Lamberton.
A tight game throughout, the Falcons held a slim two-point halftime lead. The lead changed hands several times in the second half, with a pair of Jaci Tollefson free throws with 41 seconds left tying the game at 49.
But RRC held the ball for the final possession, with Stavnes drawing the foul and hitting 1-of-2 from the line. The Wolverines were unable to get a good look at the bucket as time expired.
Karli Arkell led the Falcons with 16 points. Stavnes added 12 points in the win.
Brooke Naas scored 17 points, including 14 in the first half, to lead MLAC. Anika Fast added 14 and Tollefson scored 10.
Wabasso 13-32 = 45
WWG 28-19 = 47
Westbrook-Walnut Grove held off a furious second-half rally Friday, edging Wabasso 47-45 at Westbrook.
The Chargers held a comfortable 15-point halftime lead, but Wabasso got hot from the outside in the second half, outscoring the Chargers 32-19 in the half.
Down the stretch, WWG was able to get the ball inside, with Olivia Klumper scoring eight second-half points to seal the win.
Beth Byers led WWG with 18 points, 15 in the first half. Klumper scored 15 and Abby Wiggins added 12.Â
