The Windom Eagle girls basketball team was red hot from the field in the first half, racing to a 73-40 victory over Edgerton at Windom.
The Eagles shot 42% from the field for the game, but were especially sharp early, with seven first-half three-pointers. Meanwhile, the Eagle defense allowed only two Dutchmen players to score in the first half, as Edgerton shot 25% from the field for the game.
Kait Huska drained six treys, including five in the first half, to finish with a team-high 18 points for the Eagles. Gracie Bucher scored 15, Delaney Smith 14 and Allison Letcher added 13 in the win.Â
