Westbrook-Walnut Grove’s defense dominated Tuesday night as the Chargers rolled to a 54-28 win over Red Rock Central at Lamberton.
WWG held RRC to 25% shooting for the game. The Chargers also held a commanding 46-19 edge on the glass.
Coltin Pilaczynski led a balanced Charger attack with 16 points. Nathan Kuehl and Hunter Lien added eight points each.
Isaac Simonson, Ben Hansen and Justin Klabunde each scored six points to lead the Falcons.

Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey rallied to force overtime, but couldn’t generate offense in the extra period, falling 68-63 to Hills-Beaver Creek Tuesday in Mt. Lake.
HBC held a 32-25 halftime lead, but the Wolverines hit seven second-half three-pointers, battling back into the game.
But in overtime, HBC’s Cole Baker scored seven of the Patriots’ eight points, and the Wolverines couldn’t answer.
Ethan Nickel scored 24 points, including 20 in the second half, to lead the Wolverines. Kolby Kremmin added 12 and Carter Olson scored 10.
