Text messages lead to possible charges

Sometimes the best thing to do, when you are angry, is to wait 24 hours before sending out an angry text.

It appears a Lakefield man may learn that lesson the hard way. The lesson stems from an incident a few days ago.

At 4:29 p.m. on Feb. 26, Windom police officers received a report that a Windom woman had received threatening text messages.

Upon further investigation, charges are pending against a 35-year-old Lakefield man for terroristic threats.
