Council to discuss extending time frame for corridor study

The Windom Highway 60 corridor study could get a little more time and more opportunity for input depending on what occurs at Tuesday’s Windom City Council meeting.

The council is expected to discuss a proposal to extend the timeline for completing the study. Officials from MnDOT have already signed off on the extension, according to City Administrator Steve Nasby.

Nasby said the extension is being sought mainly because — due to the pandemic — there has been very limited input from the public on this matter.

Tuesday’s meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Windom City Council Chambers.
