The Windom boys basketball team went cold in the second half Thursday night, taking a 72-63 loss at Luverne.
The Eagles held a 19-2 lead early in the game and led by 13 points at halftime, but the Cardinals answered in the second half, outscoring the Eagles 45-23 over the final 18 minutes.
Luverne shot 53% from the field for the game, while the Eagles were held to 36%.
Conner Redman, Abe McKibbin and Dylan Serreyn each scored 14 points in the loss for the Eagles.
