The Windom boys basketball team suffered a heartbreaking loss Monday night, falling 76-69 in overtime at Pipestone.
A pair of Henry Erickson free throws gave the Eagles a 64-61 lead over Pipestone with six seconds to go. But a banked-in three-pointer from Seth Lingen at the buzzer sent the game to overtime. Pipestone carried that momentum through the extra four minutes, claiming a 76-69 win at Pipestone.
The Arrows took a 72-66 lead in overtime on back-to-back free throws from Aaron Lingen and Seth Lingen, then sealed the game from the free throw line after the Eagles went cold from the field late.
Austin Doorenbos led the Eagles with 15 points. Dylan Serreyn and Abe McKibbin each scored 14, Conner Redman had 12 and Erickson scored 11 in the loss.

MLAC 22-23 = 45
Westbrook-Walnut Grove got off to a fast start Monday night, hitting five early three-pointers on its way to a 60-45 win over Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey at Mt. Lake.
The Chargers drained nine treys as a team for the game. WWG also held the Wolverine offense in check, building a 10-point halftime lead. The Chargers then outscored MLAC 28-23 in the second half.
Hunter Lien led WWG with 15 points, 12 in the second half. Ethan Mischke added 11, all in the first half, and Cole VanDeWiele scored 10 points.
Kolby Kremmin paced MLAC with 14 points. Jordan Toll added 13 in the loss.
RRC 31-25 = 56
SWC 46-36 = 82
Red Rock Central hung around early, but a late surge to end the first half sparked Southwest Minnesota Christian to an 82-56 victory over the Falcons in Edgerton.
The Falcons were hot from the field in the first half, but SWC found its rhythm from outside and from the line late in the half.
The Eagles were a perfect 14-of-14 from the stripe for the game. And a flurry of three-pointers and late lay-ups gave SWC a 15-point halftime lead. The Eagles carried that momentum into the second half, quickly pushing the lead to 20.
Joe Strock led RRC with 15 points. Luke Willhite scored 13 and Dominik Smith added 11.Â
