Windom Area Schools will see a change in the schedule that will impact classes on March 5. The calendar change will be discussed at tonight’s monthly work session.
Supt. Wayne Wormstadt stated he scheduled March 5 as a distance learning day to accommodate staff members scheduled to receive their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Numerous staff members in the district received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Feb. 5. Vaccine availability and distribution prevented the district from offering a set date for the staff to receive their second doses prior to March 5.
Students in the district should follow their usual class schedule for the distance learning day on March 5.
