Marshall’s defense forced the Windom girls basketball team into poor shots and turnovers much of the night Friday, as the Tigers ran away with a 76-39 victory at Windom.
The Tigers pulled away late in the first half, ending the half with a 16-5 run. The Tigers hit 11 three-pointers in the game, with several in the first half to bolster the lead.
Marshall held the Eagles to 31% shooting for the game and forced Windom into 22 turnovers.
Allison Letcher led the Eagles with 16 points. Delaney Smith finished with eight points.Â
