In a report issued yesterday, Rep. Rod Hamilton of Mt. Lake said he supports a House Republican plan to wind down Gov. Walz’s business restrictions, with a goal of returning to full operations by May 1.
“What Republicans are offering here is a concrete plan to safely open our state,” Hamilton said. “Many small business owners are in dire straits due to the pandemic and the actions taken by the governor that limit their opportunities to earn a living.”
Under the plan, bars, restaurants, gyms, and other businesses would see phased in increases, lifting all restrictions by May 1.
