Eagle gymnasts fall to Luverne

The Windom Area gymnastics team bumped its score up Thursday but couldn’t overcome a strong performance by Luverne, falling 128.35-121.15 at Windom.

The Cardinals outscored the Eagles in all four events, with a three-point edge on floor exercise helping seal the win.

Brooklyn Paulson led the way for the Cobras, taking second place in the all-around competition with a 34.15 score. Paulson placed first in the meet on beam (8.75), was second on vault (9.0) and bars (8.125) and fourth on floor (8.275).

Ada Lund added a fourth-place all-around score of 30.325. Lund finished fourth on beam (7.6). Kadyn Paulson added a fourth-place score on bars (7.225).
