Marshall netted a pair of goals just over a minute apart in the third period Friday, sealing a 3-1 victory over the Windom Area girls hockey team at Marshall.
Trailing 1-0 in the final minute of the first period, the Eagles tied the game on a goal from Presley Dockter, assisted by Ella Dockter.
The game remained tied until the 6:31 mark of the third, when Marshall’s Tessa Gannott found the net. Leah Schafer added an insurance goal 1:11 later giving the Tigers the win.
Marshall outshot the Eagles 32-29 in the game. Goalie Kaylie Baerg finished with 29 saves for the Eagles.Â
