Cards pull away from Eagle boys

The Windom boys basketball team ran out of gas in the second half Friday night, as Luverne pulled away late for an 86-65 victory at Windom.

The Eagles held a six-point lead early in the second half. Halfway through the second half, the game was tied at 55. After that point, the Cardinals finished the game with a 31-10 run.

Luverne shot 60% from the field for the game.

Conner Redman scored a career-high 36 points in the loss for the Eagles. Dylan Serreyn added 12 points and Henry Erickson scored 10 points and had 10 assists.
