The Windom-Mt. Lake wrestling team recorded a triangular split Thursday in New Ulm, falling 56-14 to New Ulm before defeating Wabasso 48-24.
In the opener against New Ulm, the Cobras had falls from Kade Sammons (138) and Trenton Renquist (145). Jared Hunter (113) added a decision win.
Against Wabasso, the Cobras has falls from Preston Xayachak (106), Noah Holmberg (126), Tucker Renquist (132), Eagan Maras (138) and Alex Altman (220). Sammons (145) won by technical fall. Trenton Renquist (152) won by major decision and Hunter (113), Aiden Holmberg (120) and Micah Holmberg (182) each won by decision.
Red Rock Central salvaged a split Thursday night in St. James, defeating St. James Area 54-30 after taking a 51-15 loss to Martin County.
Against Martin County, the Falcons had a fall from Cory Anderson (285) and a decision win from Damian Osland (182). RRC added a forfeit win.
Against SJA, the Falcons had falls from Zak Zimmerman (126), Damon Holmen (152) and Keaton Skarupa (195). RRC received six forfeit victories.
