It appears the new Windom Kwik Trip is headed toward a 2022 construction.
That observation was shared by Dean George of Kwik Trip at Tuesday night’s Planning Commission meeting. The commission fully approved the store’s site plan.
Plans are to level the Cenex convenience store and car wash in 2021. The convenience store closed Feb. 1. The car wash will remain open a bit longer.
“It is on the construction calendar for the 2022 build season,” George said. “There is a possibility we may get in and do grading and earth work before the snow flies in late 2021.”
