At Tuesday’s meeting, Cottonwood County Commissioners filled a pair of vacancies in the county auditor/treasurer’s department, creating a vacancy in another department in the process.
The board approved the hiring of Carolyn Rempel as the chief deputy auditor/treasurer, effective Feb. 23. The board also hired Meridee Paulson as a full-time deputy auditor/treasurer, beginning Feb. 15.
Paulson’s hire opens a vacancy for a part-time technician position in the county assessor’s office. The position, which is 24 hours per week, will be advertised internally and externally.
