The Windom Area boys hockey team had plenty of chances but couldn’t find the back of the net in a 4-0 loss at New Ulm Tuesday.
The Eagles fell behind late in the first period, as New Ulm scored two goals in the closing seconds. New Ulm added single goals in the second and third periods.
Windom Area couldn’t capitalize on its chances, going 0-for-6 on the power play.
New Ulm outshot the Eagles 32-23. Dan Stubbe finished with 28 saves in the loss.
