Nominations are now open for the Windom Area High School Alumni Hall of Fame.
The hall of fame was created in 2018 with its first inductees being the late Lynn Nagorske, former CEO of TCF Bank, in 2018 and Betty Byam-Sher, a U.S. government foreign service staff officer, in 2019. Due to the pandemic, no one was inducted in 2020.
The hall and its committee “annually recognize outstanding alumni for their significant achievements and contributions to their career and community,” according to the hall’s mission statement. “These individuals provide a source of pride and distinction to the Windom School District. These role models also present an inspiration and incentive for current and future students.”
