The Windom City Council could have a new council member in place about 15 minutes into tonight’s regular meeting.
The first item on tonight’s agenda, following the pledge of allegiance, is listed as: At-Large City Council appointment and oath of office.
Mayor Dominic Jones reported that three Windom residents applied for the lone vacant council seat. From that list, Jones selected one potential appointee. The council will consider that person to fill the seat during tonight’s meeting.
The new alderman-at-large will be filling the final year of JoAnn Ray’s council term.
