Area hunters can comment through Sunday on a variety of significant potential rule changes for 2021.
“We’re asking you to help us by identifying your preferences regarding potential season and regulatory changes,” DNR officials stated.
On the DNR website https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/wildlife/waterfowl/waterfowl-public-input.html, people will find a summary of changes and a link to the questionnaire that seeks input on each possible regulation change. In early March, the DNR expect to present the final proposals at a public online meeting.
Among the changes are an expanded teal harvest, allowing motorized decoys, hunting after 4 p.m. and increasing the Canada goose bag limit.
