One week after competing virtually, the Windom Eagles Robotics program got its first taste of head-to-head, in-person competition at the Kimball Area Schools COVID Relief Tournament Saturday in Kimball.
And the local teams liked what they tasted.
Windom’s 7192 “C” and “A” teams finished first and second after qualification matches, with respective 9-0 and 7-2 records, then went on to team up in the elimination round to finish second overall.
Members of 7192C are Dylan Serreyn, Carter Allen and Ethan Brockman.
Members of 7192A are Keith Swenson and Philip Ackerman.
For more on Windom’s finish at the tournament, see the story in the Jan. 20 issue of the Cottonwood County Citizen on newsstands Wednesday.
