An effort to improve pedestrian activity near Cottonwood Lake received support at last week’s Windom City Council meeting.
The council voted unanimously to allow Economic Development Director Drew Hage to apply for grants that would help create safer walking areas.
One of the projects calls for adding a concrete walking area right alongside Cottonwood Lake Drive.
