Grace Clark, 96, of Windom died May 11, 2017, at her home in Windom.
A Celebration of Life service was Tuesday at LaCanne Family Funeral Home in Windom with Pastor Kathleen Brandt officiating.
Casket bearers were Adam Clark, Andy Clark, Dana Strausser, David Strausser, Dan Medin and Branden Miller.
Interment was at Memory Gardens Cemetery in rural Windom.
Grace Maria Paulson was born Feb. 28, 1921, to Theodore and Emma (Johnson) Paulson on their family farm southeast of Revere. One of seven children, Grace attended country school through the eighth grade.
In 1939, Grace married Leon Clark of rural Storden. They farmed in several locations in Cottonwood County before settling on a farm north of Storden in 1950.
In 1966, they sold the farm and moved to Windom, where Grace worked for several years at The Toro Company before retiring.
Grace was known for her love of small furry animals. In later years, she shared her life with three cats.
An avid gardener, Grace loved flowers and took pride in her garden. She also enjoyed crocheting, making baby blankets for newborns and hand-sewn quilts which were given to family, friends and neighbors.
She will be remembered for her smile, laugh, positive attitude and sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her brothers: Clarence, Leonard, Roy, Sherman and Raymond; her husband, Leon; and daughter, Shirley.
Survivors include her children: Janice (James) Johnson of Mineral Point, Wis.; David (Susan) Clark of Lee's Summit, Mo.; Nancy (Tom) Ashenmacher of Hudson, Wis.; Mary (Kenneth) Strausser of Pequot Lakes; and Michael (Niki) Clark of Hopkins; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and special friend of the family, Abdul (Danielle) Hyatt Wahab of Roswell, Ga.
