Wallace Trapp, 82, of Windom died March 19, 2017, at Good Samaritan Society-Sogge Memorial in Windom.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m., at American Lutheran Church in Windom with Pastor Sarah Larsen Tade officiating.
Special music will be provided by Dustin Stevens, pianist.
Inurnment with full military honors provided by Windom American Legion Post 206 will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Windom.
Visitation will be held Thursday at the church for one hour prior to services.
LaCanne Family Funeral Service and Aqua Green Cremation of Windom are handling the funeral arrangements.
Wallace Wilmer Trapp was born Aug. 18, 1934, to Herman and Alma (Quiram) Trapp in Windom.
He learned the carpenter trade from his father before working for Butterfield Produce.
He served honorably for two years in the military in Germany.
Over the years, Wallace worked for Delton Horkey in Windom, eventually retiring to his home in Windom.
After some health setbacks and hospitalization in Sioux Falls, Wallace returned to Windom and was a resident at Good Samaritan Society-Sogge Memorial in Windom.
He was preceded in death by two nephews, Gary and John Ysker; and a brother-in-law, Robert Ysker.
Survivors include his sister, Evelyn Ysker of Windom; and nieces and nephews and their families.
