Hannah Stoesz, 21, of Mt. Lake died March 7, 2017, near Fairmont. A Celebration of Life service was Sunday at Alliance Missionary Church in Mt. Lake. Interment was Monday at Mt. Lake City Cemetery in Mt. Lake. Sturm Funeral Home of Mt. Lake handled the funeral arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.sturmfh.com. Hannah Elizabeth Stoesz was born Jan. 17, 1996, to Jerome and Marilyn (Heide) Stoesz in Windom. She made public profession of her faith in 2013 by being baptized at Alliance Missionary Church with her brother, Jordan. Hannah attended Mt. Lake Christian School through eighth grade before graduating from Mt. Lake Public School in 2014. She studied cosmetology and graduated with honors from Minnesota West in Jackson in 2016. She began her career at Royal Treatment in Jackson in May, where she continued to work until the present. She was passionate about her work and enjoyed her co-workers and clients. Hannah loved people and spending time with friends and family, especially being "Auntie Han" to her nieces. She also enjoyed working at Sno-cross events and the traveling that came with them. She also enjoyed spending time at the lake with friends or family. She will be remembered for living each day to the fullest and seldom passing up the opportunity to try something new. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Hilda Stoesz; an aunt, Mavis Heide. Survivors include her parents, Jerome and Marilyn Stoesz of Mt. Lake; siblings: Angela (Michael) Hall and Jordan (Emily) Stoesz, all of Butterfield; nieces, Addyson and Makiah Hall; grandparents, Harvey (Pearl) Stoesz and Wilmer (MaJean) Heide, all of Mt. Lake; an uncle, James (Donna) Stoesz; and aunts, Rebecca (Rick) Hagen, Rachel (Bill) Janzen, Andrea (Chris) Sindt and Marlys (Jim) Nickel.
