As a video game player, I like to know what games are coming out or being worked on.
Over the weekend I was watching video game showcases at E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo). E3 is a yearly event where the major video game creators assemble in Los Angeles and show us what they have to offer.

Another Riverfest weekend is officially in the books
I don't know about you, but I always take a big sigh of relief when Riverfest weekend is over.
May and the first half of June are a scramble for us at the newspaper. There are a thousand things happening in those six weeks, and it was even a little more chaotic in 2018 with the rescheduling of ball games last month. Concerts, games, graduation and end-of-the-year programs at school make for a hectic time.

Monarchs return, dragonflies hatch, bears roam
It was the morning of June 1 this year when I saw my first monarch butterfly of 2018. And, not just one but two when I saw a second beauty later in the day.
Called by some the greatest natural living wonder of the world, it is amazing to see their return. The last you or I may have seen one was probably last September or October. Then they were probably in a flock, roosting in a grove of trees overnighIt was the morning of June 1 this year when I saw my first monarch butterfly of 2018. And, not just one but two when I saw a second beauty later in the day.
