Isn't losing punishment enough in fantasy football?
Anyone who has ever won in a fantasy football league knows the spoils of victory are great.
In one league I'm in, the winning team gets a trophy. In another, we have a championship belt for the winning team.
Usually, the team that finishes dead last in the league is the butt of all jokes. The "Toilet Bowl" pits the two worst teams in the league, trying to claim bragging rights that at least they could beat someone. Some leagues have trophies for the last-place team. For one of my leagues, the last-place team gets a pink fanny pack.

Swami turns to reverse psychology
Anyone who knows me knows there isn't a professional sports team I cheer for more than I cheer for the Minnesota Vikings.
My first memory of a sporting event was Ahmad Rashad's Hail Mary catch against Cleveland to win a division title. And for as much as I rail about the Pearson push-off, I'll admit that it occured in 1975. I would have been two years old.
As always, I'm optimistic about the Vikings' chances this season. But as I sat at my desk Thursday, contemplating that night's fantasy draft, something came to my mind.
