Eagle girls second, boys fourth at invite

Thursday Invitational
The Windom Eagle golf team joined seven Red Rock Conference teams to take part in an invitational that had been rescheduled from Tuesday. The girls played at Fulda and the boys played at Westbrook.

Windom's girls finished second in the tournament, shooting a 395. Murray County Central won the team title with a 390. Westbrook-Walnut Grove was fifth with a 489 and Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey was seventh with a 582.

For the boys, MCC won the team title with a 337. WWG was second with a 340. Windom was fourth with a 350 and MLAC was seventh with a 399.

For the girls, MCC's Abby Hamman was the medalist, shooting an 86.

Paige Pigman led Windom, firing a 93. Sophia Nelson added a 99, followed by Lily Mellstrom with a 101 and Allie Ward with a 102.

Brittany Erickson led WWG with a 100, followed by Halle Steen with a 120 and Lexi Herding with a 126.

Olivia Christians led MLAC with a 128. Mallary Drake shot a 148.

For the boys, MCC's Tyler Groves was the meet medalist, shooting a 70.

Tylan Porath led the Windom boys with an 85, followed by Jacob Cory with an 86, Jackson Roll with an 87 and Parker Alvstad with a 92.

Anthony Ross led WWG with an 82, followed by Andrew Quade with an 84 and Kyle Kuehl and Nathan Ross each with an 87.

Ryan Pedersen led MLAC with a 92, followed by Dima Hanson with a 94, Maleek Stewart with a 106 and Junior Louangsaphakdy with a 107.

Falcons, Panther split
Red Rock Central earned a split of a dual meet against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, played at Farmer's Golf and Health Club of Sanborn.

The RRC boys picked up a 218-258 win. Tyler Horning and Sam Dammann shared medalist honors, each with a 51. Cade Bittner added a 53.

For the girls, TMB shot a 252 against an incomplete RRC team. RRC's Carley Baumann was the meet medalist with a 53. Abby Meier shot a 56.

Falcons, Panther split
Red Rock Central earned a split of a dual meet against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, played at Farmer's Golf and Health Club of Sanborn.
