Trojan Relays Windom and Westbrook-Walnut Grove/Red Rock Central were among the participants at Tuesday's final regular-season meet of the season, the Trojan Relays in Worthington.
Windom's boys were sixth in the Class AA competition with 69 points. Pipestone won the title with 122. The Eagle girls were eighth in Class AA competition with 48.66 points. Marshall won the team title with 144.
In the Class A field, WWG/RRC's boys were eighth with 35 points. Murray County Central won the title with 154½. The Charger girls were fifth with 69 points. Southwest Christian-Edgerton won the meet with 196.
Windom's boys were led by a one-two finish in the 1,600 from John Irwin (4:36.12) and Nickolas Green (4:42.58). Patrick Green added a runner-up finish in the 3,200 (10:49.64) and Windom took second in the 4x800 relay (8:24.54).
Windom's girls were led by Delaney Smith, who won the shot put (38-7) and took fourth in the discus (107-5)
WWG/RRC's girls were led by Ramsey Piotter's runner-up finishes in the 300 hurdles (51.31) and triple jump (32-9). Camryn Bunting was second in the 100 hurdles (17.43) and Kennedy Vold and Bonnie Imker tied for third in the pole vault (6-0).
WWG/RRC's boys had a first-place finish from Dalton Piotter in the 3,200 (10:55.48). Piotter took third in the 1,600 (4:58.04). Kegan Zimmerman was third in the 400 (56.00) and Logan Pankonin took fourth in the 800 (2:18.28).
