Windom 011 030 = 5-9-7 Worthington 204 036 = 15-9-1 The Windom Eagle fastpitch team closed the regular season in ragged fashion Tuesday, dropping a 15-5 decision at Worthington.
The Eagle defense committed seven errors and Windom pitchers issued six walks in the game.
Worthington held an early 6-2 lead, but the Eagles closed the deficit to 6-5 in the top of the fifth. But Worthington scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth, then ended the game with six runs in the sixth. Worthington did not record a hit in the sixth inning, capitalizing on four walks, a hit batter and an error.
Windom scored on a Halle Jackson RBI single in the second and a Maurissa Isaacs double in the third. In the fifth, Jordyn Alm scored on an error, Jackson added an RBI single and Faith Willard hit an RBI double.
Jackson and Mackenzie Hockel each had two hits in the loss.
Jackson pitched the first three innings, taking the loss for the Eagles.

ESWC204 210 0 = 9-12-2 MLAC 000 001 0 = 1-7-3 Edgerton-Southwest Christian clinched the outright Red Rock Conference title Tuesday, sweeping a doubleheader from Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey in Edgerton.
ESWC won the opener 10-0 as the Wolverine offense struggled to get generated against Dutchman pitcher Liz Buckridge. The Wolverines had three hits in the game, coming from Taylor Naas, Hailey Pidde and Meredith Suess.
Molly Carnell took the pitching loss, allowing 13 hits and one walk while striking out six.
In the nightcap, the Dutchmen built a 9-0 lead before MLAC got on the board in the bottom of the sixth on Margo Stoesz's RBI single.
Stoesz had two of the Wolverines' seven hits in the loss.
Jordan Boldt took the complete-game pitching loss, allowing 12 hits and five walks while striking out seven.
