Windom Country Club is seeking volunteers to help clean the course two days this week.
Clean-up days are scheduled for April 18 at 4 p.m. and April 20 at 9 a.m.
Volunteers are asked to bring gloves, chainsaws and any other equipment they can use to clear downed branches from the recent winter storm. Many volunteers are needed because of the extent of tree damage throughout the course.
WCC Grounds Superintendent Dan Hinton told the Citizen that every hole on the course saw tree damage of some kind, with a couple of holes hit especially hard during the storm. He added that the course's tree nursery also saw significant damage during the storm.
