Eagle girls fall in finale
SWC stops Wolverines
MLA 17-19 = 36
SWC 24-28 = 52

Southwest Christian pulled away in the second half Friday to remain unbeaten in Red Rock Conference play, defeating Mt. Lake Area 52-36 in Edgerton.

The Wolverines attacked the Eagle pressure defense and were able to get to the free throw line. But SWC's size and outside skill eventually wore down the Wolverine defense in the second half.

Janessa Peters led MLA with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Paige Brown finished with 12 points in the loss.
