9/12/2017 1:26:00 PM Windom school leaders give thumbs up to opening week
Monday's Windom school board meeting was everything an early-September meeting should be - upbeat, festive and goal-oriented.
Principals Jake Tietje and Jamie Frank each told the board they were pleased with the opening days of school. Meanwhile, Superintendent Wayne Wormstadt also had positive things to say about the first few days of school.
He informed the board that the temporary classroom at Winfair Elementary has passed fire inspection and is ready for use. It offers a computer lab and also an auxiliary room for such things as special education evaluations, private staff-parent meetings and other activities.
