by pace of street project
Windom city council members expressed anger, at Tuesday's regular meeting, regarding the slow pace of Windom's 2013 street project.
"I have heard complaints about the backfilling (behind curbs) and people are asking who they need to contact," said City Councilman Brian Cooley. "I think someone needs to get going here. WE are getting close to the time when it needs to get finished."
Bruce Caldwell, city street superintendent, agreed, adding: "We still have a lot of streets where concrete needs to be put down . . . We are going to have to put pressure on the engineers and say we have got to get going."
