Free seminar on JFK assassination offered to public at BARC today
Fifty years after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, the circumstances around his death remain a mystery filled with curiosity.
Now, on the 50th anniversary of that dark day in American history, several area organizations are teaming up to offer a free seminar today (Wednesday) about the event titled "JFK Assassination 50th Anniversary: The Mystery and Legend."
David Jones, a history buff who has extensively researched the assassination, will share his knowledge of the subject in this free seminar on today at 1:30 p.m., in Room 10 at the Business, Arts & Recreation (BARC) in Windom.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Jones, the brother of Karen Wojahn of Windom, has made similar presentations to high school history classes in Windom.
The program is sponsored by Friends of the Windom Library, Cottonwood County RSVP, BARC, Windom Education and Collaborative Center (WECC) and Windom Community Education.
For more information, call BARC at 831-2375, or e-mail WECC at: email@example.com.
