Windom's Murphy to work, act in Prairie Repetory Theatre

Maggie Murphy, a senior at South Dakota State University in Brookings, has returned for her third season with Prairie Repetory Theatre (PRT).

In 2013, Murphy, the 22-year-old daughter of Michael and Laurie Murphy of Wilder, will perform in the ensemble of Rodgers and Hammerstein's State Fair.
In addition, she is designing costumes for Love, Sex and the I.R.S.

In past PRT seasons, she has been involved with shows such as Crazy for You and Church Basement Ladies and portrayed "Chip" in Disney's Beauty and the Beast last summer.

A senior theatre major with a minor in business at SDSU, Murphy took to the stage during the school year in Legally Blonde: The Musical and the student experimental show Reefer Madness.

For more on Murphy and the Theatre, see the story in the June 12 issue of the Cottonwood County Citizen on newsstands today.
