Farm & Home Show turnout exceeds 1,000 mark
Thirty years later, it seems the Windom Farm & Home Show hasn't lost its appeal.
On Saturday, more than 1,000 people dodged puddles and raindrops in the Windom Area High School parking lot in their quest to enjoy yet another successful extravaganza. The event's chair, Mike LaMaack, said the total was on par with previous shows.
"We had great attendance for the Zoo Man and an unbelievable crowd for the (remote control) helicopter show," LaMaack said. "We must have had 150 people there for that."
