Prairie Arts Continuum (PAC) is seeking applicants for scholarships to be presented to students who are majoring or plan to major in one of the arts.
Eligible applicants must currently reside in the Windom Area, Jackson County Central, Red Rock Central or Westbrook-Walnut Grove school districts, or have graduated from one of these school districts and currently be enrolled in a college or technical school majoring in one of the arts.
Application forms can be picked up at the high school counselor's offices of any of the four eligible school districts, the Windom Area Chamber of Commerce office or by contacting PAC Treasurer Cheryl Hanson at 831-5880.
Completed applications must be postmarked no later than Monday, April 22, and mailed to: Prairie Arts Continuum, P.O. Box 6, Windom, MN 56101.
Funding for the scholarships originated through a generous donation from an anonymous donor and has been sustained by contributions from the Remick Charitable Foundation Trust, PAC members and funds raised through PAC projects.
Over the past eight years, PAC has awarded a total of $6,250 in scholarships to 14 students.
Because PAC is a nonprofit, charitable organization, any donations to the PAC Scholarship Fund are tax-deductible.
