Fortune driver logs 4 million accident-free miles

The next time someone asks Ray Bauer how many miles he's driven his truck for Windom-based Fortune Transportation, he can honestly say, "To the moon and back - eight times."

Or, "Around the world - more than 160 times."
The 61-year-old Campbell, Texas resident was honored Friday afternoon at Fortune Transportation offices south of Windom for recording his 4 millionth accident-free mile.

He is the first driver to accomplish the milestone in the history of Fortune Transportation and all 4 million miles have been driven for the local trucking firm.
