BARC fund drive brings new windows, more efficiency
The Windom Business, Arts and Recreation Center just keeps getting cozier.
The latest improvement has been the installation of new windows throughout the main floor. A total of 31 windows were either replaced or filled in, making the building more attractive and efficient.
"You can feel it when you walk the halls," said Jack Kelly, a local volunteer who has played a key role in organizing the project. "It is warm and there's absolutely no draft."
The new windows were added through BARC's Legacy Campaign which raised about $270,000 (to get information on how to donate, call 831-2375). For much more on this story see this week's Cottonwood County Citizen and Citizen eEdition.
