Progress continues on new Windom welcome signs

It appears area residents will start seeing action regarding Windom's new welcome signs sometime next week.
Aaron Backman, executive director of the Windom Economic Development Authority, told Citizen Online this week that concrete has already been poured for the sign bases.
In addition, Backman said the metal frames for all of the signs have been fabricated.

"We hope to have the main components of the signs placed in their foundations sometime around Thanksgiving," Backman said. "They'll either do it right before the holiday, or right after."
