2/14/2018 3:00:00 PM Methodist Church to host 'Work as Worship' Retreat
We often forget to connect our faith to our work. We don't consider the reasons God may have us at our job. We don't think about the purpose and meaning we could bring to our work. We simply focus on how it makes us feel.
But what if we saw our work as an opportunity to worship?
On Feb. 23, over 1,500 churches across the country will host the first ever "Work as Worship" retreat. Locally, First United Methodist Church in Windom is one of those churches taking part in the retreat.
The live-streamed event runs from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Tickets are $25 per person, which includes the event, lunch and snacks. Registration is requested by Tuesday, Feb. 20, and may be made at www.workasworshipretreat.org.
For more information on the event, see the story in the Feb. 14 issue of the Cottonwood County Citizen, on newsstands today.
