RRC's DeCock passes 1,000-point plateau in win
Eagles top Dragons Monday
Adrian 25-20 = 45
Windom 38-29 = 67

The Windom Eagle boys basketball team broke the game open late in the first half Monday, cruising to a 67-45 win over Adrian at Windom.

Windom started the game with a 17-4 run, but the Dragons went on a 17-4 run of their own, tying the game at 21-21. But the Eagles closed the half with yet another 17-4 run and never looked back, outscoring the Dragons 29-20 in the second half.

Andy Pfeffer scored a career-high 23 points in the win. Kyle Antes scored 12 of his career-best 15 points in the first half.

SWU 23-39 = 62
RRC 29-41 = 70

Red Rock Central's all-conference senior duo had a big game Tuesday night, accounting for 50 of the team's 70 points in a 70-62 victory over Southwestern United at Lamberton.

Henry Rogotzke posted a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds. Jeff DeCock added 24 points. DeCock hit a pair of free throws in the second half to put him over the 1,000-point mark for his career.

Seniors accounted for all but three of the Falcons' points. Maison Miller added 10 points and eight rebounds in the win. Tyler Halland added seven points in the win.

MLA 37-28 = 65
MCC 15-10 = 25

Mt. Lake Area dominated on the defensive end Tuesday night, shutting down Murray County Central for a 65-25 victory at Slayton.

The Wolverines held MCC to 10 second half points after holding a 37-15 halftime lead. Much of that lead came thanks to a 26-2 run late in the first half.

Carter Kirk was the game's lone double-figure scorer, finishing with 30 points and 14 rebounds. Zach Dickens added eight points in the Wolverine win.
