The Windom Area school board will meet for its regular monthly meeting Monday night at 5:30 p.m. in Room 121 of the Middle-High School. The meeting time was moved from its regular 6:30 p.m. start time due to the choir concert Monday evening.
On the agenda, the board will consider amending the 2012-13 calendar to allow for either early release or late start times on Fridays during the second semester for staff development time.
The board will discuss and take action on possibly offering an early retirement incentive to current staff members.
The board will also vote on whether or not to purchase iPads for school board members.
The board will vote on authorizing Supt. Wayne Wormstadt to begin a foundation with the Southwest Initiative Foundation and deposit $20,000 in donated funds.
The board will set public hearing dates on the Flexible Learning Year plan. Those hearings will be Dec. 19, Jan. 14 and Jan. 23 at 5:30 p.m.
Discussion will be held on the Winfair parking lot project and the proposed Sixth Ave. project.
On the consent agenda, the board will update the coaching assignments, approve seniority lists for food service, secretaries, paraprofessionals and custodians, approve two new hires and approve a resignation.
